We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our student recruitment strategy and guide our admissions teams to achieve ambitious enrolment targets.
The Role
Sales Manager contributes to the development and implementation of the sales strategy and annual sales plan across the brand, ensuring the successful achievement of new student enrolment targets across South Africa and Kenya.
Working closely with campus leadership, marketing teams, and senior management, the Sales Manager will lead the admissions function, strengthen sales capability, and optimise recruitment systems and processes. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to translate data into actionable insights, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Performance Management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual sales strategy and enrolment plans across regions and campuses.
- Monitor and track enrolment performance against targets, providing regular sales forecasts and performance dashboards.
- Drive the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Analyse sales performance and recommend tactical campaigns, pricing strategies, and product or service improvements.
- Identify operational challenges affecting campus performance and implement solutions.
Sales Team Leadership
- Lead and manage the Admissions and Sales Consultants across the brand.
- Build a high-performance sales culture through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Drive performance management, coaching, and development of the sales team.
- Ensure effective utilisation of CRM systems and other sales technologies.
- Facilitate regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with Marketing, HR, and Finance to design and implement incentive structures that motivate and reward performance.
Sales Reporting & Data Management
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports with detailed commentary and analysis.
- Maintain high standards of system compliance and data integrity throughout the sales cycle.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on enrolment trends, risks, and opportunities.
Operational Sales Management
- Develop frameworks and processes to ensure consistent enrolment management across all campuses.
- Structure and optimise recruitment teams to support the sales model in South Africa and Kenya.
- Work closely with Marketing and IT teams to enhance tools and systems that improve sales efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with parents, communities, and education partners.
- Represent the organisation at public forums and internal leadership meetings.
- Foster transparent communication and collaboration across stakeholders.
Qualification/Education
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Valid drivers licence
Experience
- 5–7 years’ experience in leadership or senior management roles.
- 3–7 years’ experience in sales and marketing within private education (schools or tertiary or both).
- Strong understanding of school operations, curriculum frameworks, and regulatory environments.
